Distressing after busy school days

Welcome to After Class!

Hello! My name is Emily Ashton and I am a second year UVic Student studying Elementary Education.

As you know school can be pretty chaotic and stressful sometimes… so that’s why i’ve chosen to create this blog about my after class activities and the things I do to distress after a long busy day of online schooling!

I absolutely adore the gym so be prepared for lots of bodybuilding content as that is one of the biggest ways I am coping during this pandemic! Other than the gym I am a pretty energetic person who loves to do all sorts of things! Some of my other hobbies include: mountain biking, hanging out with friends, baking, and going on adventures!

I look forward to sharing this unique experience with you and I look forward to documenting all the good that happens during this semester 🙂

Free Inquiry – Gym, biking, and more!

For my free inquiry, I have chosen to focus on the ways in which I de stress from busy days at school.

2 major ways in which I de stress from school days are going to the gym and mountain biking. I have been going to the gym for 3 years and am extremely dedicated to body building and powerlifting. This started out as a hobby when I stopped competitively swimming and has now turned into one of my biggest passions and tools I use to stay focused and less stressed during these crazy times. The gym has been a huge outlet for me especially this year during a pandemic, I find myself much more stressed with online learning and all that is going on. Mountain biking is another outlet I use often that allows me to blow off some steam in an active and healthy way.

During this inquiry I am looking forward to documenting my progress and working on staying focused and less stressed throughout the semester 🙂
